Some of Our 2010 Highlights...
Holiday Open House!
Stampers and crafters came into Stamping Details Saturday December 18th 2010 to join DiAnn and Michael and the staff for a day of Christmas cheer. Our guests made a FREE Holiday Tag Make-n-Take. And many also made a large Holiday Tag Make-n-Take, like the one pictured here, for only $2.50, while having a cup of wassail and a cookie, and relaxing and enjoying the holiday season with us!
Old Poway Christmas in the Park
Did you come out to Old Poway Village December 11th 2010 to celebrate the holiday season and get in some Christmas shopping? Many of those who did got to go for an old fashioned hay ride compliments of Old Poway Village. The Poway Fire Department brought their ladder truck for kids to explore, there were booths throughout the center to help find that special gift, and the firemen were out getting donations in their boot drive benefitting the Burn Institute's "Camp Beyond the Scars" for burn-injured children. The community Christmas tree lighting at 5:20 p.m., and Santa and Mrs. Claus arriving by train at 5:30 p.m., across the street in Old Poway Park were also enjoyed by many! And earlier in the day, Melissa of The Rubber Cafe was here for a Christmas With The Cafe Make-n-Take!

If you have ever watched The Carol Duvall Show you might have seen Cherryl as a guest; and if you didn't see her on an episode she was still there behind the scenes as Carol's Producer. Later, Cherryl was Executive Producer at TVWeekly.com – where we sponsored several episodes of their internet craft show CraftTV. And now stampers took several classes with her here: Frugal Aerobic Stamping, Stained Glass Cards, and Mica Gloss at It's Best.
With One Stamp Club
We are lucky to have designer Linel Mehus, Linda Bradury's twin sister, produce a sampler board for us on a monthly basis! She is calling it With One Stamp, and each month's board includes five cards created with one or two stamps. A new "club" is starting up to to help you make cards based on her samples. The With One Stamp Club will meet once a month and is very informal – just drop in any month you are interested in making cards from the month's With One Stamp board. Just bring your stamps, papers, embellishements, and tools, and join us for a casual evening of fun. The first meeting was September 14th 2010.
